Hot Tub & New Turret — Coming Soon
We’ve got some exciting updates happening at Craighead Howfs! A hot tub is currently being installed at Ash Tree Howf and will be available to add to your stay from the end of April 2025 for an additional charge. We’re also building a brand-new turret on to Ash Tree Howf — and we can’t wait to share the finished result with you. - Totally self contained Tree Howf surrounding the ancient Ash Tree
- Hand made rustic King size bed with bedside lighting
- Huge star gazing window above the bed – please note there is no blind – do bring a sleep mask if the light is likely to trouble you.
- Wood burning stove with glass door so you can watch the flames.
- Two ring gas hob and oven.
- Fridge
- Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans
- Luxurious integral hot shower with adjacent wash hand basin -(In freezing conditions if water is off you have the full use of the facilities within the Wash Howf) Please note the minimal electricity in the Tree Howf can not cope with hair dryers so one is provided in the Wash Howf.
- Wood fired Hot Tub (Coming soon – contact us for details)
- Antique Belfast sink with hot and cold running water… (Please do note that if the weather falls to freezing the water has to be turned off)
- Downstairs toilet- designer eco friendly compost toilet with wash hand basin and lighting
- Stunning viewing platform with superb views all around and heart shaped table for that romantic moment
- Fire pit and BBQ accessed by another stair to grassy area with fabulous views and total privacy
- Recycling facility and private parking within a 50 metre walk

Pricing
£215 per night, inclusive of VAT, with a minimum stay of two nights.
We’re excited to be adding a hot tub to Ash Tree! It’s due to be delivered and installed within the next 3–4 weeks, and once ready, it can be added to your stay for £30 per night, with a minimum two-night booking.
If you’re staying soon and would like to check if the hot tub will be available during your visit, please contact us directly and we’ll be happy to give you the latest update.

Ash Tree is an adult-only retreat, designed to offer a peaceful and immersive escape. To ensure the wellbeing of our resident farm animals, we do not allow pets, as this is their home, and unfamiliar animals can cause them distress.
However, we understand that assistance dogs provide essential support, and we’re happy to discuss how we can accommodate your needs. Please contact us, and we’ll do our best to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
