Tucked away beneath the trees, the Summer Howf offers privacy, comfort, and peaceful surroundings beside the duck pond and gardens. Inside, the cosy interior features a wood-burning stove, comfortable furnishings, and a raised bed area with a star-gazing window, perfect for relaxing evenings beneath dark Scottish skies.
Outdoor Living in Nature
Meanwhile, outside guests can enjoy their own private seating area, covered cooking space, fire pit, and outdoor dining area. The two-ring gas cooker, cooking utensils, cool box, and ice packs make outdoor living easy and enjoyable throughout your stay.
Additionally, guests have access to the nearby Wash Howf, located around 50 metres away. Here you’ll find a hot shower, flushing toilet, washing-up facilities, fridge, freezer, and microwave.

Beyond your retreat, guests are welcome to explore the grounds and meet our friendly Highland cows, alpacas, pygmy goats, Valais Blacknose sheep, ducks, geese, emus, and other quirky residents. Together, they help bring the smallholding to life. Meanwhile, the surrounding Perthshire countryside offers beautiful walks, wildlife spotting opportunities, and endless chances to slow down and enjoy nature.
For added relaxation, the wood-fired hot tub is available as an optional extra at £35 per night. Simply let us know when booking if you’d like to add it to your stay.

Pricing
£160 per night, with a minimum stay of two nights. This Howf is available during selected times of the year.
The wood-fired hot tub is available as an optional extra at £35 per night, with a minimum two-night booking. If you would like to add the hot tub to your stay, please contact us once your booking is confirmed to arrange this.
The hot tub is heated using a traditional wood-fired system and requires time and care to prepare. It is checked daily, and drained, cleaned and refilled between each stay to ensure a fresh experience for every guest.

What to Pack for Your Stay
To make the most of your stay, we recommend bringing slippers for cosy evenings indoors, along with a torch for moving around after dark. A camera is also highly recommended to capture the beautiful scenery, wildlife, and memorable moments during your stay.

The Summer Howf is an adult-only retreat designed for peace, tranquillity, and uninterrupted relaxation. To help protect our resident animals and wildlife, pets are not permitted.
However, we understand that assistance dogs provide essential support. Please contact us before booking and we’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs wherever possible.
