Guests also have access to the Wash Howf, located just 50m away, where you’ll find a modern shower, flushing toilet, and a well-equipped kitchen with a sink, fridge, freezer, and microwave. A hairdryer and full-length mirror are also available for added convenience.
Completely secluded amongst the trees at the very top of the garden, The Summer Howf sits beside the duck pond, with resident ducks as your peaceful neighbours. Stroll across the garden bridge to explore more of the beautiful grounds and meet the friendly animals that call Craighead Howf home.

The Summer Howf is an adult-only retreat, designed to offer a peaceful and immersive escape. To ensure the wellbeing of our resident farm animals, we do not allow pets, as this is their home, and unfamiliar animals can cause them distress.
However, we understand that assistance dogs provide essential support, and we’re happy to discuss how we can accommodate your needs.
