Lovingly restored by Ian, Heather, and family, every detail has been carefully considered to provide comfort throughout the seasons. The Muckle Howf has been designed with space, comfort, and relaxation in mind. Inside, you’ll find three spacious en-suite bedrooms, including a master double bedroom and two flexible bedrooms that can be arranged as either twin beds or super king-size beds. Additionally, the cottage features a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and the charming Whisky Lounge overlooking the surrounding countryside.
After a day exploring Perthshire, guests can unwind in the private sauna or enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The utility room, additional fridge and freezer space, and family-friendly layout make the cottage equally suited to short breaks and longer stays.

Outside, the private garden, patio, and firepit provide plenty of space to relax, dine outdoors, and spend time together. Meanwhile, the surrounding Craighead Howf grounds offer opportunities to spot wildlife and meet our friendly Highland cows, alpacas, pygmy goats, Valais Blacknose sheep, ducks, geese, and other smallholding residents that help make every visit feel special.

The weekly rate starts from £1,450.
The private hot tub is available as an optional extra for an additional charge. Please contact us for current pricing and availability. The additional charge helps cover the heating, maintenance, cleaning, and preparation required between stays.

Check-In and Departure Information
Check-in is available from 3 pm, with departure by 10 am. If you know your estimated arrival time, please include it when completing your booking so we can prepare for your arrival.
