From the bespoke wooden furnishings and hand-carved sinks to the rustic handmade double bed beneath the star-gazing window, every part of the howf has been thoughtfully created. As a result, the space feels warm, welcoming, and completely unique.
Inside, the wood-burning stove creates a cosy atmosphere throughout the seasons, while the double gas hob, cooking essentials, and handcrafted interiors make countryside living both comfortable and memorable. The Burrow also features its own shower and hand-carved wooden wash hand basin.
Meanwhile, the eco-friendly compost toilet sits in its own neighbouring ‘wee’ howf beside the retreat, continuing the handcrafted character and feel of the experience.
