In the evening, sit outside and take in the stunning views of the Ochils while watching the beautiful horses roam. Test your culinary skills on the BBQ and enjoy your meal al fresco. You’ll be treated to a variety of birds, including regular sightings of Red Kites flying overhead, and you’ll encounter a host of wildlife. Among them are our pony, Soay sheep, Swiss Valley Blacknose sheep, and Shropshire sheep, along with rheas, peafowl, fantails, turkeys, guinea fowl, hens, ducks, two alpacas, pygmy goats, geese, cats, and our two Highland cows who are happy to pose for photo opportunities.
There is plenty to do in the area during the day, but if you prefer to stay close, you can simply enjoy the two acres of grounds and gardens at Craighead Howf. The idyllic setting provides a perfect backdrop for relaxation and exploration.
